Its April, 2000, the last day of the 5th Boob Cruise and Alyssa Alps was in charge of writing the ships log. We had begged Miss Alps to attend Boob Cruise for three years and she always turned us down but this time she accepted. The ships log is a big job but one she could handle because she had been writing her SCORE column On The Road every month. Although Alyssa said she did not want to pose for photos, a vow she kept all that week, on the last day, the lure of the camera and this tropical paradise worked its magic.

Alyssa Alps was a terrific spokesmodel and representative for SCORE. A longtime and popular magazine columnist, photo-columnist, her first On the Road column was published in January 1998 SCORE and the last in the June 2003 issue. Alyssa never missed a deadline. Near the end of her column-writing, Alyssa changed her theme from her club travels around North America to profiles of her dancer friends such as Casey James and Minka. She knew everyone in the exotic dance industry, from dancers to agents to club managers and owner, and they all knew her. Alyssa should have written a book about her many activities and experiences as a model and dancer.

This pairing of Heather Hooters and Alyssa Alps is a rare photo shoot of two of the top exotic dancers of the 1990s. It was shot in July, 1996 and published in the June 1997 edition of SCORE. Heather was the quiet one. Alyssa was the chatty one. The 90s were a great, busy decade for these two. Was it better all-around then! The clubs were booming and the busty superstars were everywhere. Alyssa penned a fantastic column in SCORE called On The Road that began in the January 98 SCORE and ended in the June 03 issue. Thats a great run for any column, especially in mens magazines. She would write about her club dates, her dancer friends and what happens behind the scenes. It was filled with snapshots of Alyssa with her dancer buddies, fans and club employees.
